its not really self tanner its called bronzers, and most of the popular lotions today have bronzers in them… the trick is to make sure you wash your hands immediately after tanning if you use a lotion like this, to avoid the orange finger thing

I work at a tanning salon and the Smoke has to be one of our biggest sellers. If anyone is having troubles with the staining of the bronzers then there are a few things that can be done to stop this problem. 1) Was hands thoroughly after application and be sure to go lightly on elbows, knees and around the feet, 2) If you do get staining you can take a loofah and baking soda and rub the stains off.
If you want to avoid the orange color on and between your fingers, wash your hands immediately after tanning with soap. This will prevent any orangeness. And once you get the orange on your hands it’ll probably take a few days to come off. One of my friends had it all over her hands and she looked ridiculous. It was SO bright. I definitely advice washing your hands after tanning if your using a bronzer tanning lotion.
Simply the BEST lotion out there…been using Smoke Black Bronzer for years now and nothing has beat it, to date. The scent is amazing and the bronzers are very powerful. If you do NOT like bronzing lotions, dont use it. I cary wet wipes in my purse that way I can just wipe my hands before I get into the bed and have never had any issues. I can always tell when my roommates steal my lotion without asking, because their hands and feet are stained! Sneaky…not!
When i started working at a tanning salon, i was constantly trying new lotions so i could help advise customers on lotions they would like according to their tanning level. I usually use tingle so it was hard for me to find reg lotions and bronzers that gave me that immediate gratification of color and a glow.After tanning for some time it seemed that i had reached my peak (even when switching between extremely high end lotions and using bronzing beds) i must say that smoke gave some of the best immediate results of any non-tingle! I non use this ALL THE TIME, its great! (However, if u don’t have a good base tan i would wait to use this product because it may cause steaking.)

Why not just go to the drug store and buy a self-tanner? Why is this any different? Does it really make your skin tanner or just fake it with bronzers? Are there any lotions that simply amp your own skins ability to get dark in a tanning bed without bronzers or DHA?
This is wayyyy different than using a self-tanner, those are the types of products that leave you orange. Indoor tanning lotions help enhance the tan you get from a tanning bed and also protect your skin and nourish it. Lotions that contain bronzers just have extra ingredients to further deepen the tan you get, if you use them properly you will get great results and never look like you got a fake tan at all.
