I just started tanning again, and noticed some comments about using a different lotion until I have a base tan, then using the Smoke. Suggestions on what I should use first?

This is probably one of the best lotions I have ever used. It will turn your hands orange if you don’t wipe them off after applying. Immediate results and the darkest tan out of anything I have ever used. BUT- it smells horrible. After using it for 2 years I had to give a half bottle away because I couldn’t tolerate the smell anymore. Plus it doesn’t mask the burnt skin smell at all. If you can handle the smell- it’s worth every penny.

My skin is very olive and sometimes ashy so smoke works BEST and gives my skin a more golden color.

I started tanning again for the past 2 months, been using
Cypher which my old tanning reps advised ( maybe bc they got a whopping 170 from me for that lotion!) but at a new salon last week the rep recommended this as their top seller and top bronzer! WELL, I was defiantly impressed!!! Works great – of course I use a ton on sanitizer on my palms before I turn my bed on so didn’t get the orange affect! Def my fav and I’ve been tanning for 5 yrs. I actually was searching to buy it online :p (in the salon it’s $80!) A +++++++++++

I hate this lotion. It makes me very orange. I work at a tanning salon and have tried many lotions. I also tan very easily. Smoke gives your skin a very fake, orange tint. For those of you shopping for a good bronzer, I would go with Designer Skin Luminary, Obsidian or Black. I also like Millenium Tanning Paint it Black.

Out of all of the tanning lotions I’ve ever tried, this is my absolute favorite! Instantly darker after one or two sessions. Always bring wet naps with you, I have gotten the orange hands afterward quite a few times. I wouldn’t use this if you don’t already have a base tan already though.
